January 6, 2012 Dear Parents, Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break and were able to enjoy some extra time with your child(ren). I know I enjoyed some extra free time J! We are slowly getting back to our routine in our room and are continuing to work very hard at our learning. I can definitely tell some of us continued to work hard while we on our break! This is so AWESOME…..WAY TO GO! This is very beneficial to your child’s success and I thank you for taking the time to put in the extra work J. In this letter I will inform you of important dates and details that are upcoming in our room/school. I will send another newsletter out at the end of the month to inform you of what we have been working on and more upcoming dates/details. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Important Upcoming Dates : Wednesday, January 18th: BOOK ORDERS DUE (They will be sent home Friday, January 13th) Monday, January 23rd – HOT LUNCH $ DUE Tuesday, January 24th: Field Trip to Grand Rapids Symphony’s version of Little Red Riding Hood (more details to follow) Friday, January 27th: HOT LUNCH Monday, January 30th: NO SCHOOL
Please continue to work with your child at home. This is very important to your child’s success and it only assists with their progress in the classroom. Keep up the great work you are already doing….THANK YOU! We are in need of the following items: Kleenex Disinfectant wipes Erasers (not the pencil top type) Snacks (our cupboards are EMPTY L) Thank you for all of your contributions, we appreciate what you are able to give! I hope you all are getting into the routine as well, I know it can take some time J. Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to the remaining 5 months with you and your children!
